Job Opening: Programs Specialist

We are looking for a part-time (20 hrs./wk.) Programs Specialist for our state office.  The hours will vary a little, but in general will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.  The pay range is $ 11-13 per hour.  Duties will include:

  • Reporting on Programs--class and support group monthly/quarterly updates
  • Planning Teacher and Facilitator trainings
  • Maintaining database of teachers/facilitators
  • Planning and coordinating, with assistance of all NAMI Utah staff, our annual state conference
  • Overseeing the Hope for Tomorrow school education program

Skills needed to perform these duties include:

  • Knowledge of and belief in NAMI programs
  • Great organizational and prioritization abilities; self-starter
  • Experience with computers, experience with databases preferred
  • Ability to occasionally work nights and weekends
  • Teamwork
  • Professional appearance as a public representative of NAMI Utah
  • Ability to problem-solve
